Laurieton - Hunter Valley May 8

 Said goodbye to dad & Joy and continued to head South. Good lord it’s getting chilly. Was still debating on where to stop next. Finally decided to return to the caravan park that we stayed at last time Wine Country Tourist Park at Nulkaba near Cessnock.  The beauty of this place is it is across the road from a Brewery and it is a mighty fine Brewery at that.  Spent a couple of hours pleasantly tasting a few beers especially liked the coffee/Mocha one. Once back at the van park it was finally fire time. Let me tell you it is hard work lighting a fire when all you’ve got is a paper bag and pine needles and big wood pieces but I eventually got that sucker going. I’ll get some fire lighters next time. Tomorrow we head for the wineries  Xx

Urunga - Laurieton May5-8

Left Urunga at about 9.30 and arrived at Laurieton just before lunch. Set up the van for next 3 nights. Visited with dad & Joy. Didn’t do a great deal here just took a trip to Port Macquarie (to get some warmer clothes cause its going to get colder as we go south) had dinner with dad & joy, went to markets at Kendall this morning and had lunch down at the bowls club and went for a walk along the beach and collected some small shells for a project i have in mind. Tomorrow we will head to Glenbawn dam as the weather along the coast is not looking good. Anyway we will see where we end up. Xx Jen & Ed & Harriet Coddiwomple alias Jupiter 3

Brisbane - Urunga

 Day 3 4th of May Left Brisbane heading to Laurieton. Decided to stop at Urunga just south of Coffs Harbour. Staying at a Reflections Caravan Park and boy do they now how to charge, $56 a night and that’s off peak. It is a nice caravan park on the river and you can see the bar that goes out to the ocean. Weather a bit chilly. Of course we visited the pub. Friday we head to Laurieton.
